When my mother passed away unexpectedly, I was happy her arrangements were already arranged with Schnider Funeral Home. They handled my father’s funeral a few years ago and they did a great job, so when Mom passed in May it was good to know they were taking care of things. They were very flexible and respected my choices and needs for her service and the staff in both the funeral and the reception area were lovely and kind. When I had a minor meltdown before the service, they were extremely understanding and the service was beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs services. They were also affordable and their preplanning services were very easy for my parents.

I can’t say enough good things about Schnider’s and O’Connor funeral homes. Derek and his staff went above and beyond for us and our son. They treated us with such kindness and respect. Derek always made himself available and gave us time to grieve and make decisions. I felt like I was pestering him too much with questions but he never hesitated to accommodate us and make us feel like he was there for us. I truly feel like my son was well taken care of here and their kindness meant so much to us. Thank you!

I wanted to thank you for allowing us to hold my mother’s Celebration of Life at your venue. Your staff were kind during the planning process, and we appreciated having the space. I do want to share a few concerns from the day of the service, in hopes it helps other families going forward: - Staff phones ringing during speeches was disruptive and felt disrespectful in the moment. - Dishes were cleared/cleaned during my father and brother's eulogy, and the noise meant half the room couldn’t hear them share how much my mother meant to them. That was heartbreaking for us. - While we were setting up, grieving and overwhelmed, we were told we weren’t moving things correctly. A little more patience and understanding would have gone a long way. I know this work is hard, and I don’t believe anyone meant harm but, people who choose this profession need to understand how much these small moments matter. When someone is giving a eulogy, the room should be silent. 💔

I have had to work with Schnider Funeral Home on more than one occasion unfortunately, however this last time - I lost my significant other, at a very young age. The circumstances were extremely hard as one can imagine. Todd and all of the staff were so great and made a horrible experience feel a little lighter. I will always recommend these guys! You can redo a wedding, but you cannot redo a funeral, thankfully with this staff - you’ll never feel that things should have been done differently.

Schnider Funeral Home was wonderful. They were so helpful and accommodating. They walked me through what to do and what I needed to do. They also took care of setting up the military honors.. Also it was so great to have everything in the reception hall set up so I didn't have to worry about it.

Schnider Funeral Home is so amazing to work with . The empathy, compassion and time they spend listening to stories, memories and ideas to best create the perfect celebration of a loved one’s life truly makes a heartbreaking time in life more bearable . They are upfront with the process, charges and what to expect every step of the way . And even after - they reach out again offering comfort. It’s the little things that help the soul heal . Myself and my family are beyond thankful for everything Schnider did for our family. I had called ahead as we knew the end was coming, and spoke with Taylor. I had a few questions because of a poor experience at a different funeral home with a different family member, and she assured me that she would handle all of our arrangements. The entire team was nothing short of amazing at accommodating everything we needed and staying in touch. We didn’t have a large presence of family, but we had a lot of questions. A big selling point for me personally, was Taylor’s ability to match the energy. We could easily drift from humor to grief and she instantly adjusted. Everyone grieves differently, and this was a welcomed moment.

Dave and the staff at Schneider’s were great to deal with. Dave explained everything clearly and let me know what to expect. He was very compassionate and helped guide me through this very difficult time. The staff was great and helped me find an urn for my husband that was perfect for him. I would recommend Schneider’s to anyone that has to go through this difficult process.
